The first meeting of the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development Sub-Council took place on 20th of December.
The Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, welcoming the members of the sub-council, proposed to discuss some issues related to the effectiveness of the council and its sub-council activities.
Deputy Minister Hakob Avagyan and Head of the Business Support Office Gevorg Poghosyan summed up the results of the previous sessions of the SME Development Council, record the points to be implemented.
Subsequently, the discussion participants touched upon the issues included in the Tax Code Amendments Package, presented sensitive issues for the private sector, particularly SMEs. An arrangement was reached to address the issues raised during the upcoming meeting, as well as to circulate the draft proposal before the members of the sub-council.
The procedure of the Sub-Council of SME Development Council was also approved, according to which sub-sessions should be convened once a month, and council sessions at least four times a year.
