A range of meeting with SMEs in regions has been launched

The BSO consultants met with Impact Hub Yerevan’s fellows to discuss business-related issues

On May 18th the BSO consultants visited Impact Hub Yerevan and met with the Hub’s fellows to discuss business-related issues.

Among the questions asked those related to tax policy, family business regime, self- employed entities and social entreprises and liquidation of companies. Also the fellows were interested in legal registration opportunities for NGO who were planning to run business.

The Head of BSO speaks on the effectiveness of adoption and implementation of SME strategies

On April 20 the Head of BSO made a presentation on the effectiveness of adoption and implementation of SME strategies in frames of Constructive Policy dialogue project event.

After introducing the main outlined points in the adopted SME development strategy 2016-2018, Gevorg Poghosyan stressed the importance of identifying practical steps and monitoring mechanisms related to implenetation of the following SME strategy for 2019-2022, when the latter will be elaborated.

BSO meets small winemakers to discuss a favourable tax regime

On February 22, the Business Support Office’s Head and Economist-Consultant visited Vayots Dzor region to meet with over two dozen winemakers in Areni community hall, which is famous for local winemaking.
