The BSO took part in the regular session of the Expanded Public Council of Revenue Policy Improvement

In order to discuss the proposed changes to the RA tax system with the relevant specialists within the framework of public awareness, the regular session of the Expanded Public Council of Revenue Policy Improvement created by the decree of the Minister of Finance was held at the RA Ministry of Finance. The participants of the session were representatives from the RA Ministry of Finance, other agencies and famous international consulting organizations involved in the Council with advisory capacity. The session was chaired by Arman Poghosyan, Acting Deputy Minister of Finance.

The agenda of the session included the proposed amendments to the RA Tax Code, the main purpose of which is to form a stable and predictable tax environment as well as continuous improvement of the business environment from the point of view of establishing prerequisites for investment attractiveness and economic growth of the national economy.

In particular, the new taxation system – micro-entrepreneurship system – and the approches of profit tax and income tax rates reducion were introduced and discussed at the session.
